Welcome to our new website, North Reading Votes! This website and the activities associated with it were inspired by our recent town election on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016. The turnout for that election was just 12.15% of registered voters in our town1. While this fraction is normal for our area2, it’s much lower than we want to see in a democracy. All of us residents as well as the candidates in our elections benefit from a higher turnout of informed voters at the polls.
